Des's Cabs have been in existence since 1964 in Whyalla, 1994 in Port Augusta and 1995 in Adelaide.

Des's Minibus is part of the Des's Cabs Group comprising Des’s Cabs Whyalla, Port Augusta and Adelaide and Cab Tab Taxi Credits (which is our financial arm). We run our own account and docket system and have many account customers. Ask us how to open an account with us. Or you can use the popular Cabcharge system in any of our Des’s buses.

Chris Brougham is the Chairman of this large group of family owned companies and is always looking for new challenges. He knew the value of large passenger transport early in the Des’s story in Whyalla and in 1995 bought two 14 seat Toyota Commuters and ran them with his taxi fleet in Adelaide.

From that small beginning in the Taxi Bus and Chauffeur Bus industry has grown an ever increasing fleet of (to date), 40 modern and air conditioned buses. Among them, our flagship 13 passenger Commuter buses used corporately, for tours and family functions, several new 21 passenger Coaster Buses and our new Rosa buses which have 24 comfortable and stylish passenger seats.

The busy Des’s Minibus operation runs from early in the morning to late at night to meet the demand of our customers.
